Housewalk

Where and when do I pick up my tickets?
Your guidebook serves as your ticket for the Housewalk. You will need to pick it up in the lobby of the IWS Children’s Clinic at 28 Madison Street in Oak Park (at the corner of Madison and Humphrey) on:

  • Friday, December 6 | 3–7pm

  • Saturday, December 7 | 10am-4pm

What are the hours for the Housewalk?
Houses will be available for tours:

  • Friday, December 6 | 5–9pm

  • Saturday, December 7 | 1–5pm

Can I pick up my guidebook/ticket at one of the houses?
No, it must be picked up at 28 Madison during the above ticket pick-up hours.

Can someone else pick up my tickets?
Yes, a friend is welcome to pick up your ticket(s) for you. They just need to give your full name.

Where are the homes?
The homes are in Oak Park and River Forest. All information regarding the homes, including descriptions and addresses, will be listed in your guidebook.

How many homes are on the Housewalk?
There are six beautiful homes featured on this year’s walk.

Can I bring children on the Housewalk?
Children must be accompanied by an adult and be at least 8 years old.

Will there be restrooms available?
No restrooms will be available within the homes.

Does this event have accessible accommodations?
The Housewalk itself is not wheelchair/walker accessible but the Holiday Market is.

Holiday Market

Do I need special tickets to go to the Holiday Market?
No, the market is included in your ticket price but it is also open to the public for free.

When and where is the Holiday Market?
The market is located at our IWS Children’s Clinic (28 Madison Street in Oak Park) on the second floor. You will find over 20 vendors with fabulous holiday gift ideas. The Market is open:

  • Friday, December 6 | 3–7pm

  • Saturday, December 7 | 10am–4pm

Parking

How does parking work when I pick up my tickets or go to the market?
You will see event parking signs with balloons on them directing you to event parking. You can also use the parking lot behind the Clinic or street parking on Humphrey or Madison.

What does this event support?
Our mission is to help vulnerable children in our community and surrounding areas access to critical healthcare including pediatric medical, dental, and behavioral health services. We are committed to advancing the health and well being of children in need so that they can grow into healthy and productive adults.

Proceeds from this event support the OPRF Infant Welfare Society’s programs and services which includes the Children’s Clinic, which provides support for nearly 3,000 patients with over 10,000 annual visits. For more information, visit oprfiws.org.
