Spreading Hope: How the Holiday Gift Program Helped a Family Rebuild After a Fire

The Clinic’s annual Holiday Gift Program is one of our signature initiatives to help families in need. Among the 85 families participating this year was a single mom and her two children, aged 6 and 9, based in Melrose Park, Illinois. The family had recently lost all their belongings due to a fire in their building. The Clinic stepped in. We provided winter coats, bed sheets, blankets, and hygiene products to cover their immediate needs. Through the Holiday Gift Program, the children also received carefully selected gifts bringing a touch of comfort in a challenging time.
